The adventure with modifying car dashboards and SYNC3 in Ford vehicles began by accident, from buying a car and being unhappy with the navigation display and the large screen hidden behind big plastic covers. The large screen could show beautifully designed indicators and completely change the driving experience of this vehicle :-)
A completely modified SYNC3 system in a redesigned graphical version. The most important feature is the speed of operation, with a radically different appearance, offering many color options, backgrounds, and icons. The icon database for radio station logos has been customized, and the radio station database has been improved to ensure proper display in Poland.
Replacement of the factory dial set with a 3D frame and graphical system. This allows you to remove the factory plastic cover and replace it with a slim, small frame that fully reveals the display located under the factory dial. Replacing the graphics and system allows for any desired graphical appearance.
The BOX is installed directly into the vehicle's OBD system without damaging the factory wiring. It allows the display of many useful information on the SYNC3 screen, such as oil temperature, transmission temperature, catalyst or intake temperature, DPF pressure, particulate filter status, alternator operation, battery status, tire pressure, and much more.
The video shows the changes and modifications that have been applied, including a completely redesigned home screen, multimedia features, and additions like Video Player, which further expand its capabilities.
The video shows an example of the device in operation. After proper programming, we can display certain parameters from the available sensors. Depending on the vehicle configuration, we can display oil temperature, engine temperature, transmission temperature, catalyst temperature, interior temperature, charging status and battery condition, tire pressure, and most importantly, the status of the particulate filter, among many others.
